What coins are

Coins are a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access features inside IRONICS. They are not money, not a deposit, not a stored-value instrument, and not a security.

You do not own coins. You hold a licence to use them, granted by C12 AI Gaming, on these terms.

No cash value

Coins have no value outside IRONICS. They cannot be redeemed for money, exchanged for anything of value, transferred to another player, or sold. There is no secondary market that we recognise, and buying or selling coins outside the game is grounds for termination under the Community Guidelines.

Coins are not your property and do not form part of your estate.

Buying them

Coins are sold in fixed bundles at a price shown before you pay. Price and bundle size can change; a change never affects coins you already hold.

Purchases are final once the coins are credited, except where consumer law gives you a right to cancel. In the UK and EU you have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase, and that right ends once you have started spending the bundle — we tell you this at checkout and ask you to acknowledge it.

Spending them

Coins buy items and cosmetics. Those are licensed to you on the same basis as the coins themselves — for use within IRONICS, for as long as we run it.

Item prices can change. What you have already bought is not repriced.

Expiry and forfeiture

Coins do not expire while your account is open and in good standing.

They are forfeited without refund if you close your account, or if we close it for a breach of the Terms of Service or the Community Guidelines.

Beta

Coins granted during the beta are promotional, are not bought, and are wiped along with the rest of beta progress. Where coins are bought during the beta, a wipe restores them.

If IRONICS closes

If we discontinue IRONICS we will give at least 90 days' notice on ironics.org and by email. During that period you can spend coins you already hold and we will stop selling new ones.

Coins unspent at the end are forfeited. Where the law requires a refund of unspent purchased currency, we will make one.

Taxes

Prices shown include applicable tax where we are required to charge it. Anything you owe personally arising from your use of coins is yours to handle.
