Terms of Service

1. Who you are agreeing with

IRONICS is operated by C12 AI Gaming ("C12", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your use of ironics.org, the player portal, and the IRONICS game client.

By creating an account, applying to the beta, or using the game you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.

2. Age

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an IRONICS account. We ask for a date of birth at application and we do not accept applications below that age.

Age is the only eligibility gate. Platform, region and hardware are collected to plan test cohorts and never affect whether an application is accepted.

If we learn that an account holder is under 13 we close the account and delete the associated data. We do not retain a record of a rejected application.

3. Your account

You sign in with a single-use link sent to your email address, or with an Epic Games account. You are responsible for the security of whichever you use, and for activity under your account.

One person, one account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be sold, rented or transferred.

4. The beta

Beta access is granted in cohorts, is free, and is revocable. Beta builds are unfinished by definition: they will contain defects, they may lose progress, and features shown may change or be removed before release.

We may end the beta, reset progress, or change what a beta account is entitled to. Where a reset affects something you paid for, section 7 applies.

5. What you make

You keep the rights in the original creative content you make with the character creator. You grant C12 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting IRONICS, including in screenshots, trailers and social posts.

That licence survives your account being closed only for material we have already published. It does not let us sell your content on its own.

6. What we own

The IRONICS name, the game, the site, the code, the art and the underlying systems are owned by C12 or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of that to you.

7. Purchases, items and Founder status

In-game items, cosmetics, currency and Founder tiers are licensed to you for use within IRONICS. They are not property, they carry no cash value outside the game, and they cannot be redeemed for money.

Founder numbers are issued in the order applications are approved, and the tier caps published on the site are real limits, not marketing. A number, once issued, is yours and is not reissued.

The Virtual Currency Terms cover currency specifically and form part of this agreement.

8. Conduct

The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. Breaking them can cost you access, up to and including a permanent ban.

Cheating, exploiting, automating play, reselling accounts and harassing other players are each grounds for immediate termination.

9. Ending things

You can close your account at any time from the portal or by writing to legal@ironics.org.

We can suspend or close an account for a breach of these Terms or the Community Guidelines. Where the breach is not serious we will tell you what it was and give you a chance to put it right.

10. No warranty, and the limit of our liability

IRONICS is provided as-is. During beta especially, we do not warrant that it will be available, correct, or that progress will be preserved.

To the extent the law allows, C12 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, and in those places these Terms apply only as far as the law permits.

11. Changes

We will post a changed version here and update the version number. If a change is material we will ask you to accept it in the portal before you continue, and we will record which version you accepted.
