The short version
Play the game, make things, argue about builds. Do not make IRONICS worse for the person next to you.
These Guidelines form part of the Terms of Service and apply everywhere we run — in game, in the portal, and in official community spaces.
Not allowed
- —Harassment, threats, or targeting someone repeatedly after being asked to stop.
- —Slurs and hate directed at people for who they are — race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age.
- —Sexual content involving minors, or anything sexualising a character presented as one. This is reported, not just removed.
- —Cheating: aimbots, wallhacks, macros, exploiting a bug rather than reporting it, or playing on someone else's account.
- —Real-money trading — selling accounts, currency, items or Founder numbers.
- —Doxxing, or sharing anyone's private information without their consent.
- —Impersonating staff, or claiming a decision came from us when it did not.
- —Spam, advertising, and scam links.
The character creator
You have wide latitude to build what you want. Two limits: nothing on the list above, and nothing that infringes someone else's trade mark or copyright.
A creation that breaks the rules gets removed. A pattern of them costs you the creator tools, and then the account.
How we enforce
A first offence usually gets a warning that says exactly what the problem was. Severity escalates from there: temporary suspension, loss of specific features, then permanent ban.
Cheating, real-money trading and content involving minors skip the warning.
Appeals
Every enforcement action can be appealed once, to legal@ironics.org. A different person reviews it. We tell you the outcome and, where we can, the reasoning.
A permanent ban for cheating or real-money trading survives appeal unless you can show the account was compromised.
Reporting
Report from the in-game menu, or write to legal@ironics.org. Reports are confidential — the person you report is not told who reported them.
