Beta Agreement

What this covers

This Agreement applies in addition to the Terms of Service for as long as your account has beta access. Where the two conflict, this one wins — but only for the beta.

Access is a licence, and a revocable one

Beta access is a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use unfinished software. It is granted per cohort and can be withdrawn at any time, with or without a reason.

You may not share your build, your access, or your account with anyone.

Confidentiality

Builds marked confidential stay confidential: no streaming, no screenshots, no telling people what is in them. Builds marked public may be shown, streamed and written about freely.

Every build tells you which it is on its download page, and the portal records the current state. When in doubt, treat it as confidential and ask.

Confidentiality ends for a given build when we say so publicly, or when the information becomes public through someone other than you.

Progress is not guaranteed

We will wipe progress during the beta. Characters, unlocks, currency and match history can all be reset without notice and without compensation. Founder tier and number are the exception — those survive every wipe.

Feedback

Feedback you send us — bug reports, suggestions, recordings — can be used by us freely and without payment or credit. You keep the right to say the same things elsewhere.

This does not apply to original creative content you make in the character creator, which is covered by section 5 of the Terms of Service.

Telemetry

Beta builds send crash reports and gameplay telemetry. That is the point of a beta. What it collects and how long it is kept is set out in the Privacy Notice.

What ends it

Breaking confidentiality, cheating, sharing access, or breaching the Community Guidelines ends beta access immediately. Beta access also ends when the beta does.

Losing beta access does not close your IRONICS account and does not affect a Founder number you have already been issued.
